As a reminder, the States of Jersey are highly likely to bring into force the following changes in September this year:
• Disability discrimination; and
• Significant changes to family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, adoption and flexible working requests.
In addition, the transition period for age discrimination comes to an end in September. Therefore, employers will need to consider their compulsory retirement age polices to ensure that they are compliant with the Law.
