Alexandra assists David Benest and Jeremy Heywood in handling high value catastrophic personal injury claims, as well as dealing with a range of clinical negligence matters.
She joined a predecessor firm of BCR Law, as an Associate in January 2013, following her substantial experience as a litigation solicitor with international law firm Kennedys Law LLP.

Prior to her employment at Kennedys, Alexandra joined Welsh Health Legal Services as a trainee Solicitor in 2004 and remained with them for six months post-qualification.
During her training contract, she undertook seats in clinical negligence, personal injury, employment law and commercial property. Post qualification, Alexandra was employed as a clinical negligence and personal injury specialist.
Alexandra has represented the NHS Trust and Insurers in numerous personal injury and clinical negligence claims with damages reserved up to £6 million.
Alexandra has worked on a wide variety of claims, including:
- Cerebral palsy;
- Erb’s palsy;
- Neonatal deaths;
- Neurological, psychiatric and orthopaedic injuries.
Alexandra has also conducted round table meetings and negotiations on behalf of clients and regularly appeared at the Royal Courts of Justice and in regional County Courts for application hearings and case management conferences.
In addition, Alexandra is able to provide general advice on healthcare issues, including:
- Consent to treatment;
- End of life decisions;
- Mental capacity;
- Clinical risk;
- Complaints; data protection and child protection.
