Alison Brown


Alison Brown is an Advocate in our Family Law team, drawing upon her professional experience to resolve divorce, financial and children law matters.

She works with Partner and Head of Family Law Emma Wakeling and English Solicitor, Tara Lee.

Alison also undertakes advocacy in the Royal Court and Magistrates Court in criminal law matters and also appears in the Jersey Employment Tribunal.

She was sworn in as an Advocate of The Royal Court of Jersey in November 2016, and is also a qualified English Solicitor.

Alison is a full member of the Jersey Family Law Association. She is also a member of Resolution.

Alison is a fully trained family mediator working with Family Mediation Jersey.

When the Jersey Family Mediation Services was re-established as Family Mediation Jersey Advocate Brown was one of the first batch of newly trained mediators, Alison continues to be a family mediator with the service, and brings those skills to her family legal practice, and she co-authored the following article.
