George Pearce


George Pearce is an Advocate within the Litigation team.

He passed his final law exams to become Jersey qualified in August 2017, and was called as an Advocate of The Royal Court of Jersey on 9th November 2017.

George has particular experience and expertise in personal injury claims (acting both for plaintiffs and defendants), in clinical and professional negligence disputes, health and safety investigations, and high value asset recovery actions.

George primarily works with David Benest, Jeremy Heywood.

Professional Background

George graduated from Oxford Brookes University, in 2010, with an LLB Honours degree in Law.

In 2011, he completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.

George returned to Jersey in 2011 and joined a local boutique litigation firm, where he assisted in a wide variety of both civil and criminal matters. George joined David Benest Law in January 2014 and, since then, has worked closely with David and Jeremy on a wide variety of personal injury, clinical negligence, professional negligence, and catastrophic injury, cases.

George continues to specialise primarily in these fields, but has also developed expertise in commercial litigation.
